Jeff Cadle Stories

As the Millenium changed I sent out to my friends a listing of my Top 100 memories of my first Millineum. Jeff played a prominent role in many of the memories. I've included several memories/stories about Jeff in this site for your amusement. Please feel free to email me any stories or memories you have of him and we'll add it to either the Stories or the Blogs page appropriately.

#94 - The Ashtray 1986

Published June 4, 2006 1:58 PM by Phil Parker

Jeff had just broken up with his girlfriend of 2 years at UCD and was feeling pretty bummed so we went to the Graduate to drown his sorrow. Jeff and I proceed to get intoxicated and Jeff started going up to people and pointing to the walls and asking "Do you know what made those hole?" (The wall was wood paneled with lots of knot holes in it) and when people would look at him like he was crazy he'd scream "Bark Beetles!"

For those of you familiar with it, the phrase PsychoBitchKiller came into being that night.

Jeff and I ended up sitting at a table that had a pile of glass ashtrays on it. Jeff was now the depressed drunk and was taking ashtray after ashtray and smashing them to pieces on the floor underneath the table. He must have smashed 8 or so when he said "Phil try it, it really makes you feel better" so I grabbed one and smashed it just like he'd been doing. Within 2-3 seconds a bouncer grabbed me and kicked me out of the Graduate.

Jeff breaks 8 nothing, I break one "You're outta here!"

Similar story that didn't make the top 100. Craig and I were sitting at a bar and Craig was crumpling up napkins and throwing them into a basket behind the bar. He was doing it for 15-20 minutes. He told me to take a shot so I did. The bartender went ballistic and kicked me out of the bar. Must be the way I dress or something.
